Jazz is back in Sunny Isles Beach at the 10th Annual SIB Jazz Festival, from Nov. 17-19. Beginning with a Jazz dinner at Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach on Friday, Nov. 17, culminating in the main concert on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Gateway Park, 151 Sunny Isles Blvd., and rounding out the weekend with Sunday Jazz Lazy Breakfast on Nov. 19 at Solé on the Ocean, Jazz Fest is sure to entertain any jazz, rhythm and blues, or rock and roll fan.

Time-honored classic group, The Spinners, is headlining this year’s Jazz Fest on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 7 to 10 p.m. Known for their soulful R&B songs, such as “I’ll Be Around” and “Then Came You,” original member, Henry Fambrough is joined by lead singer Charlton Washington, high tenor Marvin Taylor, tenor Ronnie Moss, and bass singer Jessie Peck.

The second vocal act of the show is Cornell Gunter’s Coasters featuring Edwin Cook. Billed as R&B meets rock and roll, original members of The Coasters were known as the Clown Princes of Rock and Roll and became the first group inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Opening the show is local jazz vocalist, Lourdes Valentin. Her musical concept fuses unique arrangements, improvisation, and rich rhythms and lyrics that inspire the spirit of her audiences.

General admission, bring your own chair or blanket, is $10; reserved seating, includes a seat, is $20; and VIP admission, includes a seat, food and beverages, is $50.

On Friday, Nov. 17, Acqualina Resort and Spa on the Beach is hosting Opening Night for the SIB Jazz Fest from 8 to 11 p.m. Enjoy the sounds of legendary jazz band, Livton Jazz Quartet featuring Grammy-nominated pianist, Tony Perez, while savoring a delicious, prix-fixe dinner from Il Mulino New York. On Sunday, Nov. 19, Solé on the Ocean is hosting Sunday Jazz Lazy Breakfast from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy an a la carte menu and specialty ‘Build Your Own Bloody Mary’ Bar along with music by award-winning jazz duo Davis & Dow Loverly at Fresh American Bistro. Reduced valet parking is $5 per car.
